Kleos is a brand operated by Synapse Ai, LLC and is used by its affiliated licensed insurance agencies that specialize in final expense life insurance products. Kleos and Kleos.com are non-government entities and are not endorsed by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), the Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS), or any other government agency.

Final expense life insurance obtained through Kleos is intended to help offset end-of-life costs, but the benefit may not cover every funeral expense, and your beneficiary can use the proceeds for any purpose. Because these policies focus on a specific need, their death benefits are generally smaller than those of traditional term or whole-life coverage and are not meant to provide broad financial support to survivors. Most plans do not require a medical exam, yet premiums rise with age, and applicants with significant health issues may receive graded or limited benefits during the first years of coverage. Reducing or skipping premium payments can curb cash-value growth and may cause the policy to lapse, while withdrawals or loans will decrease both the cash surrender value and the death benefit. Contributions are limited; exceeding IRS thresholds can turn the contract into a Modified Endowment Contract (MEC), making withdrawals and loans taxable. Product features and availability vary by state, and all guarantees rely on the claims-paying ability of the issuing life-insurance company.
